Aditi Verma's Expertise
  • With 5+ years of experience, I am passionate about integrating marketing and communications, digital media, data-driven, user-centric strategy and end-to-end project management. As a Senior Project Officer in the Healthdirect Policy and Engagement team, I primarily focus on Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement. My team sits in the Primary Care Access Branch in the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care (Primary Care Division). We manage the Commonwealth's relationship with Healthdirect - a company jointly owned by the federal & state/territory governments that provides health system navigation & clinical advice, and virtual care services. My duties span project management, policy support, stakeholder management, and communications. I lead the communications and marketing activities on behalf of the department with Healthdirect, and support strategic development and service enhancements for Healthdirect services to meet the needs of all Australians. Previously, I was a Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Officer in the Department's Health & Medical Research Office Branch, within the Health, Economics & Research Division. I increased awareness and engagement for the office's programs including the Medical Research Future Fund. My role focused on planning and delivering multi-channel communications (website, social media, newsletter, press, webinars etc), tracking & analysing data, and supporting policy communications. Prior to joining the Australian Public Service, I worked in the area of marketing and communications in the not-for-profit sector. As the Marketing & Fundraising Manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities (ACT), I led the marketing and fundraising stategy for the charity. This included independently planning & executing all communications, marketing, events, advertising, media, partnerships, fundraising, and digital platforms. I also managed the charity's local annual Gala Ball, raising over A650,000. Previously, I led all digital marketing and advertising as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Communities at Work, including website and content, social media, campaigns, eDMs, and reputation management, SEO, digital advertising, market research, data analysis & reporting. Now, I am excited about growing my career in the strategic space in the public service. I have an affinity towards inspiring positive change in organisations and teams I work with. My professional philosophy is that of excellence and innovation, driven by an eagerness to learn and a solutions-focused approach.
