I have twenty three years of cable manufacturing experience in various functional areas of business at AFL including scheduling, purchasing, quality and production. Self motivated, team oriented with the ability to tackle new challenges with innovative solutions.
I have 5+ years’ experience in the Planning/Scheduling focus. This experience included the scheduling and planning of customer orders through the shop floor. I was a liaison between Customer Service/Product Management and ACS Manufacturing, providing follow-up to both groups with regard to manufacturing issues, etc. I scheduled the ADSS orders in Oracle in regards to Schedule and Promise dates. I utilized Access databases and Excel spreadsheets to enable me to provide Customer Service and Product Managers with the “Process Window of Opportunity”, with regards to material lead-times and process capabilities. I initiated Discrete Jobs in Oracle for every ACS order for manufacturing process to begin, while following the order through to completion. A portion of my past roles included entering requisitions into Oracle and maintaining various Access databases, initiating reports, etc. I have approximately two years’ experience in creating MRO requisitions, contacting vendors/suppliers for pricing, following up with suppliers on delivery, etc., following through until each item is received. I have approximately three years experience in maintaining AFL’s Certification Database, for which I assisted in developing this database and made improvements. I have a Certificate of Completion for training as an ISO Auditor as well, which comes with two years’ experience in Document Control.
