Anthony Seed's Expertise Since picking up my first service charge file in 1999/2000, I have developed an in-depth understanding of what a good service charge file should contain, as well as the tools required to review and certify a service charge account. Having worked in client accounting for a national property agent, as well as heading up a service charge department in my current role, I am in a great position to be able to apply the knowledge and experience gained from both of these to whatever situation presents itself. I always build a thorough understanding of the mechanics of each property and work with both the surveying and accounting teams to ensure efficient and timely closure of service charge reconciliations for clients. Because we understand how our clients systems work, we provide an excellent service, permitting staff to analyse our findings and identify any adjustments to ensure that costs are allocated correctly. During my time within the management accounts department at King Sturge, I took responsibility for several national funds for UK institutional investors, as well as individual investments for foreign-based development companies. On each instruction I improved reporting and service charge compliance rates. I also assisted clients in transitioning between accounting softwares, tailoring reporting structures to meet their requirements.
