- Growing up on a farm in New Haven, MO about three hours west on I-44, I feel at a young age I gained great work ethic and a good background knowledge of the agricultural industry. I grew up raising registered Hampshire sheep at the local and state fairs. I was also very active in my local FFA chapter. I will be graduating Missouri State University in December of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources and a minor in Forestry. During my undergrad work at Missouri State, I work for the Missouri State University Grounds Department as a student worker. I have completed a summer working for the Missouri Department of Conservation as a Wildlife Technician. I assisted in maintaining 9,000 acres of public land in the Central District. I brush hogged fields and trails on the five different public lands. Most of my time was spent spraying for invasive species of autumn olive, but also on crown vetch and bush honeysuckle.
