β’ Uncover clientsβ event needs through a creative approach of selling a vision and
experience, with a focus on miscellaneous upsells and room rental capture.
β’ Seeking out and developing new prospects in the weddings and social events market,
eventually converting prospects into new and repeat clients.
β’ Conducting property tours and entertaining planners and clients of social events and
weddings.
β’ Negotiating with clients through the use of creative event proposals and menu
presentations to achieve maximum revenue potential while satisfying the clientsβ needs.
β’ Supervising the execution of Social Catering to include large restaurant bookings,
private dining, and private events.
β’ Acts as the liaison for all vendor/supplier related clients needs.
β’ Finalizing the requirements of confirmed social event bookings while maximizing
revenue potential through up-selling and ensuring effective communication both written
(Resumes, BEOs, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the
success of the event.
β’ Primary contact for all advance planning, set up, event orchestration and post-departure follow up for each program.
β’ Adaptable and able to work across all departments to detail each event and ensure flawless execution.
β’ Ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event.
Informing potential clients of wedding and social event offerings. Contracting new clients. Communicating with existing contracted clients to assist with planning details of their event(s). Creating planning documents such as BEOβs and Resumes to share event and client details with various departments throughout the resort in order to best serve the clients needs and exceed their expectations. Overseeing events onsite and ensuring all details are as executed as planned. Sourcing and coordinating with outside vendors. Creating a seamless experience from arrival to departure for all clients by through detailed planning and communication with other departments. Assisting with menu selections and suggested timeline advice.
