- My hometown of Milwaukee has exposed me to many extensive opportunities to for me to develop my skills as a designer. From being commissioned for feature length films and physical art, to construction and design consulting, I have attempted many facets of design that were made available to me. After having the opportunity to work with the Director of Design at Ramlow/Stein Architects in highschool, I quickly found my desire for the built environment and its interactive nature with human beings. Architecture represents a functional way for me to express creativity, as it involves creating spaces for every day use by every day people. My role in this life would be to create environments that increase productivity, efficiency and quality of life for everyone involved. I want to make spaces for people to feel comfortable in and inspired by. My education at UW-Madison has allowed me to grow as a designer and to be able to strategically think about design as whole, with emphasizing efficient and good design along with sustainability.
