  I am an artist, graphic designer, photographer and full professor in the Department of Art and Design at Central Michigan University, where I teach design communication. I am also a Principle at Design Direction, LLC, a design communication studio where I have helped to guide non-profits, small start-ups, institutions and fortune 500 companies to “define and tell their stories through strategies that advance their impact on the world”. I also have had the privilege to serve as a juror for photographic shows and several regional and national design organizations.
