Dan Thomas's Expertise With over 30 years of healthcare experience, I was Certified by the American Nurses Association in 1985 as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse. My career includes both outpatient and inpatient, acute and long term Psychiatric Nursing. I've worked a Partial Hospital program and served on an Assertive Community Treatment (A.C.T.) team. I taught Geriatric Nursing for 15 years and served as a Nursing Director and Chief Operating Officer for a 181 bed Nursing and Rehab facility and Director of Nurses for a home care agency. I am currently bringing those experiences to bear as the Utilization/Care Manager for a 29 bed Adult and a 10 bed Gero-psychiatric unit. I'm energetic and always up for a challenge.
