Acting General Manager of the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL. The Center is owned by The Croquet Foundation of America ("CFA") -- a not for profit organization. The Center sits on a 10 acre lot, with a beautiful, 19,000 sq ft Caribbean Colonial Clubhouse with full dining and banquet facilities, and 19 full-sized croquet courts. My position is as an unpaid volunteer. This is a beautiful place to have your next large or small business meeting or team-building event, private party, wedding, or charity fundraiser -- and play croquet (or not)! All charitable organizations are given a significant reduction in our facilities' fee, and some are provided free of charge.
The CFA owns and operates the 10 acre Charles P. Steuber National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL. It is the largest facility of its kind in the world, incorporating 12 full-sized 6-wicket courts, 7 full-sized 9-wicket courts, and practice areas. It has a 19,000 sq.ft. Caribbean Colonial clubhouse; a full bar, full dining and banquet facilities; the largest pro-shop of its kind; and houses the Croquet Foundation of America, the United States Croquet Association, the National Croquet Museum, and Sandy James Fine Food & Productions -- a top Palm Beach caterer that provides the on-site food and beverage. The CFA also manages the selection and induction process for the Croquet Hall of Fame. The National Croquet Club, the Special Olympics Croquet Club, and the Palm Beach Atlantic University Croquet Club are all resident there.
