Carried responsibility for all management aspects of the lab including hardware, software, processes, and support personnel. Interfaced with engineering and operational IT towers and business organizations to qualify lab testing needs. Performed people management activities such as career planning and performance assessment. • Planned and headed migration of Global Test Lab from Louisville, KY to Franklin, MA. Directed the design and build-out of the new Franklin facility, led migration efforts, and conducted the decommissioning of Louisville facility. 50 plus servers and 14 equipment racks were consolidated into a VMWare driven virtualized lab that occupied only 3 equipment racks. • Directed three separate Global Test Lab expansion projects to support the Windows application testing program. In just a few short months the environment grew in capacity from 200 to 1200 Windows VM test machines. Implemented self-service portal to handle increased testing workload without increasing headcount.

Product owner and lead engineer for MECM infrastructure and endpoint management use cases. Define strategic use case and technology roadmaps in accordance with business requirements. Facilitate infrastructure upgrade cycles (document, test, deploy). Author documentation required to support operational functions. Provide 3rd tier support and act as primary contact during Incident/Problem Management activities. Author supporting documentation to support 1st and 2nd tier support activities. Periodically evaluate alternative and supplemental technologies to ensure delivery of best-in-class solutions. Onboard solutions including championing for approval with security, risk, and other regulatory requirements. Onboard new endpoint use-cases (mergers/acquisitions). • MMC Essential Employee award for exemplary efforts to maintain software and Windows 10 upgrade content delivery to off-prem endpoints during opening months of COVID19 response. Many challenges, including network bandwidth and port restrictions for off-prem endpoints, were conquered on the fly. • On-boarded Adaptiva OneSite technology as full scale on-prem software content delivery solution. Deployed infrastructure and fully integrated 90,000+ endpoints in just over 3 months. As a result, over 450 remote office infrastructure content servers, and a total of 1800TB storage, were decommissioned permanently. • Consolidated divergent endpoint management infrastructures representing individual operating companies into a single flat hierarchy eliminating 80% of data center based infrastructure required to support the enterprise. Reduced over 1 dozen management interfaces to single point of management. • Created customized processes to accelerate profiled software delivery activities to new endpoint builds. Reduced total end to end process time from over 24 hours to under 4 hours.
