Currently, I am the Director of R&D for Hydrotex, a manufacturer and distributor of high performance lubricant and fuel improver solutions. In my role, I focus on new product development and manufacturing scale-up. My professional focus is project management, R&D, and commercialization. Recently, I lead a startup that developed innovative antireflective technologies for the photovoltaics industry and polymeric optics, and I served as the principle investigator on grants from the NSF and AFOSR. Prior experiences in the renewable energy field include the development of supramolecular catalysts for solar energy conversion at Princeton University and materials research for fuel cell electrodes at SwRI. Past experiences in drug discovery include two successful candidates for the proof-of-concept of novel therapeutic pathways for diabetes and obesity at Merck.
