Buzzer community safety application, a mobile device based app, provides emergency SOS functionality for end-users in pre-defined geographical areas. When the SOS feature is activated, the Buzzer App provides alert messages to all other end users in the designated geographical area. The Buzzer App also provides end user incident reporting for different categories of incidents such as crime, suspicious activity, fires, accidents or medical emergencies. The Buzzer App operates with cellular devices and other mobile devices when these are connected to the internet. A live data connection is required for the Buzzer App to work.
