Gpc George Jackson’s Expertise George Q. Jackson, a graduate of Northern Michigan University, is a grant and fundraising professional with nearly 20 years of development experience in nonprofits, universities, and the public service sector. George currently serves as Associate Director of Grants Management at the Michigan Science Center in Detroit, MI. He oversees the organization’s grant cycle activities, including research and prospecting, proposal development, and post-award management and reporting. George has generated millions of dollars of funding over his career and managed multi-year grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding 3,000,000. George, his wife, and two sons reside in the Detroit metropolitan area. He enjoys caring for houseplants, podcasting, reading science fiction, and engaging in outdoor activities in his spare time.
