With a degree in Film Production from Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara, CA. He got his start working on a syndicated program “WCT” World Championship Tennis, where Tennis tournaments were recorded for Television and broadcast nationally and internationally. These Tourneys were held in US, Caribbean and Europe where he developed his relationship with crews and learned the importance of preparing proper venue logistics thought out North America and Europe. Higginbotham then moved to New York City where he worked with Ailes Communications over the next few years he dealt with political ads, television programs and commercial productions. As a Production Manager for Ailes he worked to hone his skills. Senate, Congressional, Mayoral, Gubernatorial and Presidential as well as issue orientated programs. Providing budgets, organizing film crews and logistics, equipment and transportation and tactfully merging client and crew to make a smooth production experience for everyone and to supply whatever was needed to make the job work on time and on budget. Higginbotham moved into shooting as DP, in many different type of productions. Commercial, Industrial, Documentaries, Movie Junkets, Television show for such clients PBS, CBS, HBO, USA, NBC, MTV, ESPN, World Sports Group, U.S. Cycling Championship, Bradsell Associates, Nickelodeon, E+M Media Advertising, CK Sound, All Mobile, Roche, Merck, Canfield Scientific, Magno Sound, C&C Studios, Nippon TV, Metrovision, National Video Center. He had rolls in some feature Films “Tootsie” shot at National and he shot some of the news anchor scenes in “The Soprano’s” and also for the final scene of “Hamlet 2000”. A wide variety of work experiences over the years which leads to getting the job done on time and with in budget.
