- Welcome to my page and thank you for checking in on my journey! A little bit about myself, I am a veteran who found their way to into the Tech industry. I am super passionate about cybersecurity and having an instructor background I really enjoy teaching others how to be more secure in this ever evolving digital world and I am always humbled to do so. I have a strong physical security background which helps me be well rounded as a security professional. Fun fact about me, I really love cooking! Currently, I am a SOC Analyst and it has really opened my mind to the endless possibilities you have within the IT industry. It has also taught me to be resourceful, self sufficient, do my research, and to not be afraid to take tasks on or ask why. I spend a lot of my time studying for certifications and on TryHackMe learning all kinds of different tools and skills. I will be finishing up my Security Blue Team Level 1 certification soon and will be working towards my eJPT next. I worked hard to break into Cybersecurity full time! I am very personable, collaborate well with and have managed diverse teams, and am always willing to learn and grow. I am not afraid to admit when I don't know a tool or task and am equally not afraid to ask some hard questions. I would prefer to be competent learner than an squeeze by being inept at my job.
