Laura Mendez is a I love wearing hats. Therefore, here is a quick summary of different roles I have acquired over time. I catapulted myself in the Food and Beverage industry where I acquired the basics and foundations of Hospitality and Customer Relations where I started making my way as host while being a Full-Time Student. I later received an exciting opportunity at Palm Beach State College to be able to work at the Career Center and assisted 75-100 students on building their resumes, job-searching, and interview skills. I was able to create connections with the students and began to manage the department’s social media. I learned SEO and how to increase views within the algorithms. I then went on to work at one of Florida’s most popular hotels, The Breakers Palm Beach, where I was the first reach of communication with guests. The Breakers gave me a great learning opportunity to manage reservations, assist VIP clients, and use my bilingual skills to make connections. In my current position I’m able to use all my skills I have acquired over time and build relations with clients. I have also learned new skills such as legal writing skills, data entry, and drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and witness lists to assist the practicing attorney in preparing for trial. I have coordinated support for an average of 15 cases per week.
