- I started in the real estate industry when I was 18 years old, in property management as a leasing agent where I quickly moved up the ranks and spent 10 years of my real estate career. In addition, I have now been a licensed Real Estate Agent for 4 years and worked in the New Home Build industry as well. Real estate was not where I expected to land myself a career. I originally went to school for law and then switched to a Criminal Justice Major, ideally, I wanted to work with juveniles, but that all changed when I started leasing and decided I loved helping people find their home and being a key part of that process. I have always had an interest in real estate and homes ever since I was a kid as it was always a tradition since I was just 8 years old that my mom and I would tour the parade of homes in my hometown. Born and raised in North Dakota, I am a Midwest girl at heart! Starting my career in real estate in a smaller market was difficult, but I always enjoy a challenge. A few challenges I have faced and overcome are, navigating through the constant change from a buyers’ market to a neutral market and now into a strong sellers’ market. I have also been through the rise and fall of interest rates and seen how it has both positively and negatively affected the housing market. I am incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of the real estate process and work with both buyers and sellers of any stage from first time buyers, to seasoned sellers to investors. In 2020 I was awarded the ND housing champion of the year for first time homebuyers! A few personal notes about myself are that I am dual licensed to help your real estate dreams come true in both ND and AZ. I am a people person, an animal lover and a traveler who loves to explore new parts of the world every chance I get! I also enjoy myself a good hockey game and bonus points, if the Minnesota Wild win. Lastly a fun fact about me is I hate ranch dressing!
