Design and install electrical and automation systems on overhead lifts and cranes.
-Wire electrical panels and heavy equipment according to
company standards and customer specifications for
overhead hoist and cranes.
-Program AC/DC motor drives and PLCs.
-Order materials for upcoming projects and maintain
shop inventory.
-Discuss with venders implementation of products and
installation issues.
-Interact with customers and field technicians to solve
and avoid on site issues.
-Provide technical support and expertise to other
company employees including off hours calls for trouble
shooting, maintenance, and system design.
-Design and use relay logic in crane systems.
-Draw and design schematics and wiring layouts.
-Schedule project completion dates and coordinate with
project managers for installations.
