I started my career with Spectrum InfoTech working on DSP algorithms and solution and moved to Ittiam in its early startup days. I grew with Ittiam, starting as an engineer to building and leading a team of exceptional engineers. We developed world class video and imaging software IPs, Multimedia (playback, recording & streaming) solutions which made to many customer end products. This startup culture helped me to be aggressive, agile and manage myself and my team at good and challenging times. I joined AMD as a Senior engineering manager in the heterogeneous compute group to build SDKs and solutions around AMD GPU. At Bangalore I built the team picking top talent from the Industry. At AMD I developed host of SDKs (APP - OpenCL, Video and Audio) and VDKs (Vertical Development Kits) which used GPU and video compression and decompression accelerators targeting domains like Casino gaming, Pachinko gaming, video game live streaming and Ultrasound imaging. At AMD I worked with cross-functional and cross-geo teams, maintaining record of delivering on time. It was good experience of influencing other teams and cutting across the clutter of a large corporation.
