Modal Analysis : FE model built-up for BIW with meshed parts and connections in ANSA; Checking and debugging model as per the design data and standard procedure; Modal analysis of BIW model (Vehicle body structure) using NASTRAN; Analyze the model and suggest design modification to improve natural frequency; Interact with the designer to explain design modification (countermeasure); Optimize the panel design to achieve the best performance. IPI and VTF Analysis : Model built-up for frequency response at mounting points; Operation deflection shape analysis using NASTRAN; To check for dynamic stiffness of mounts to understand vibration isolation in the body; Analyze, suggest design changes (Countermeasure) to improve dynamic stiffness (IPI). Also to estimate the vibration transfer function (VTF) for frames and panels in vehicle.. NTF Analysis : Check the noise level inside vehicle at drivers ear using NASTRAN. Noise transfer function (NTF) is estimated for various paths in vehicle. The counter measures are provided to reduce noise from structural vibration. Sub-system modal analysis : Sub system modal done for small systems to check the natural frequency and suggest the counter measure to improve the first mode of sub system.
