- Sara Jo Oliver is a NESTA Certified Adventure Boot Camp Instructor, American College of Integrative Medicine Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, and Fitness Coach through Wellcoaches, an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) endorsed program. She holds a degree from the University of Houston in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. Sara has been an athlete since the seventh grade, playing basketball all the way into college. She then went on to coach basketball one year before realizing her first love was fitness itself, and helping others reach their fitness visions became a passion. She has now made health and fitness a lifestyle and a career. She will share her passion for fitness with all who she instructs . She is a wife and mother of three and worked out through all her pregnancies! She worked for over nine years training women in a gym setting at The Train Station in Houston. She opened her own business 2006, The Strong Woman, where she continued to train women in weight training and pilates. Then in 2006 she also started Adventure Boot Camp in the Bay Area so she could impact a larger group of women's and men's lives at once. She has continuing education in rehabilitation, pilates, and aqua training. Her love for fitness and healthy living is evident in her teaching style that you will find motivating and inspiring.
