- I am a political science Ph.D. candidate (ABD) at Syracuse University in the Maxwell School. My dissertation focuses on politicized identity on short video social media platforms, examining how these platforms may impact identity formation, maintenance, and, ultimately, political activation. As a part-time research methodologist at Gallup, I have worked with Gallup Poll Social Series data, facilitated cognitive and in-depth interviews, written client topline reports, conducted literature reviews, and supported client qualitative questionnaire design. As a team member on both qualitative and quantitative research projects, I have had wide exposure to Gallup's research approach while contributing to Gallup's important public sector research. My Clifton strengths top five are: Woo, Communicaton, Positivity, Includer, and Activator. Outside of my professional endeavors, I serve as an Alzheimer's Association Ambassador to Congressman Brandon Williams. In this role, I connect my representative to information about upcoming legislation to support the Association's goal of Ending Alzheimer's. I also serve on the Staff Parish Relations Committee of University United Methodist Church in Syracuse, NY. I graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and International Studies from Saint Louis University in 2021. There, I completed an undergraduate thesis based on original qualitative research in addition to service in SLU's Student Government Association, Student Activities Board, and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
