- I have always been fascinated with space and solving problems to make the world a better place. These interests combined with a fine attention to detail lead me to pursue an education in Aerospace Engineering. In 2011 I achieved what I would consider my greatest accomplishment to date and graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering. During my time at the University of Colorado at Boulder, I was given a unique opportunity to lead and manage a national sounding rocket program for students across the United States. This position provided me with invaluable experience in Systems Engineering and Program Management that acted as a springboard into my next position at Sierra Nevada Corporation. I was hired as a Systems Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation (no... not the beer company) out of college. During my time at SNC I further honed my Systems Engineering skills while managing all levels of requirements for a small satellite (~150 kg). I was also fortunate enough to participate in a launch campaign, thermal analysis, and thermal vacuum DITL testing during my time at SNC. My next adventure began in 2012 when I started at DigitalGlobe as a Systems Engineer. My role at DG continues to expand my horizon since I have assumed the responsibility of Product Owner for a critical Collection Planning component. This position is very rewarding and accentuates the value of collaboration and iteration in development. Oh... and did I mention how awesome the work is that we're doing here? :) Specialties Include: Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, System Design, Team Building, Product Ownership, Scrum, Waterfall Development, Agile Development, Scaled Agile Framework, Collaboration, Requirements/User Stories
