Key Highlights & Primary Responsibilities: _ Procurement activities supporting Thunder Horse, the largest subsea drilling & production platform in the Gulf of Mexico _ Procurement activities across several offshore operations for maintenance, drilling, construction, & production’s materials & equipment _ Procurement activities supporting R&M (reliability & maintenance) which requires deep knowledge and understanding of critical production equipment _ Requisitioning activities on behalf of Shell’s offshore operated facilities _ Process material & equipment receipts & proactive expediting & tracking _ Subject matter expert for the use of SAP, SRM and Maximo _ Invoice resolution – deep knowledge of the complete purchase to pay process _ Coach, mentor and support training of junior buyers _ Provide excellent customer service skills – strong in proactive communication _ Professional experience working closely with vendors and suppliers _ Experienced at complex problem solving for material & equipment purchase orders
