- I have worked in C, C++, Objective-C, Java, Smalltalk, Python, and Perl, to name just a few. I have worked with various scripting languages including Unix shell scripts, TakeCommand batch scripts, proprietary scripting languages, makefiles, and etc. I am an ardent fan of good programming habits, such as writing correct, extensible code within both the time constraints and objectives of the project at hand. I strive to write easy to debug code, use appropriate software life-cycle tools to manage the software development process, and continually learn how to improve the software development life-cycle process. I assemble computers, build and maintain local networks, as well as design & develop software. I am communicative and easy to get along with. I have a good eye for user interface design. I know my way around SQL, relational database tools, scripts, and middle-ware; including ODBC and JDBC. I have designed and implemented database layers to allow for end-user configurable databases, rather than prefabricated solutions, for several different products in multiple programming languages. I have loved working in C++, Objective-C, Java, and Smalltalk. I am open to learning new languages and environments. I am particularly interested in software engineering, software development life-cycle management, user interface design, and multithreading.
