Before starting my own company in 1989, I was manager of technical publications and training organizations in GEs defense business. I joined the Air Force right out of high school and spent most of my four-year hitch as an electronics instructor. I eventually earned a bachelors degree through night school. Specialties: At Topaz, we focus on developing student materials and instructor resources for technical training courses, primarily for industrial and construction craft workers and technicians. Personal note: In 1997, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by starting to compete in road racing events via the Sports Car Club of America. I competed at Watkins Glen and other Northeastern tracks until 2002, when we moved to Gainesville FL to open a new office. My wife Toni and I moved to Greenville South Carolina in 2008 and opened the Topaz office there.
