- I have many interests, and consequently I am active in my professional life in several fields. I am a networker extraordinaire and a creative thinker. I run a company, Ducat Media, that is now in its 15th year which produces documentary films, long and short format, interpretative media for museum and web exhibitions, as well as media for Columbia University and New York University. Clients have included the BBC, PBS. the New-York Historical Society, National Park Service, Library of Congress, NYU and Columbia University. We are a women's and minority certified business for New York City and New York State, and with that certification we are a broker for audio visual equipment and materials for the State Universities of New York and for WNYC, the public radio station in New York City among other institutions. My feature doc, All Me: the Life and Times of Winfred Rembert has won many awards. Winfred Rembert won a posthumous Pulitzer Prize for biography in 2022. WWII & NYC, the 2012 block buster show at the New-York Historical Society, had 13 short films and two interactive kiosks created by Ducat Media: http://www.youtube.com/user/nyhistory/search?query=nyc+%26+ww2. One of the films showed again, 10 years later, in May 2022 at an event at the NY Public Library opposite MOMA. I also love architecture --have an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University (Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation--and I am a real estate agent for Halstead Property in NYC, one of the largest private agencies in New York City. I organize neighborhood projects: I am a Public Member of the Land Use Committee of CB 12 M. (Upper Manhattan) I co-chair the Riverside Oval Association, a successful community group in Northern Manhattan that has received solicited grants and appropriations to restore the central garden of the neighborhood. I spearhead community events. I speak Spanish---and rusty but usable Mandarin Chinese. I also play flute. I play chamber music and have played with Parlor Entertainment, a jazz salon in Sugar Hill.
