In early nineties, I lead the Yibal Phase II project from concept to hand over to operations. I was given a two years stint in planning and economics for the Development Business Unit B between 1993 and 1995. I then lead a multinational and competent project team during the development of the largest and complex green field gas project in PDO’s history, the LNG Upstream project. I became Head of Gas Engineering following the successful commissioning of the LNG Project in mid 1999. In August 2001, I become the Gas Director and my portfolio included the sub-surface engineering, surface facilities engineering, operations & maintenance, gas planning & economics and HSE. In 2006 I became the Infrastructure Director and in 2011 I moved to lead the Engineering and Operation Function Directorate, the biggest function with more than 50% of PDO staff. In 2017 I was seconded to Oman Oil Company to help them set up the Project Management Capability and in 2018 I decided to have an early retirement. I enjoy walking, farming and swimming and have a very heavy social commitment. Self Employed
