  Growing up, if there was one thing that stood out to me as a personality trait, it would be curiosity. I was told by my parents that when I was young, no matter what they would say, I would always always ask, "why?" As I grew older I realized that I get genuinely curious about something that I don't know the answer to. I think for that reason, my education and career has followed the path that it did. Let me show you, "why." My goal in college was to gain as much knowledge as possible of every aspect of a tech company. Therefore, I graduated from VCU with a BS in Information Systems. It was the perfect balance between technical knowledge (SQL, Java, C#, HTML, CSS), data analytics (Python, R, Tableau, Power BI), and business management (Salesforce, Jira, Visio, Lucid Charts). Every class I took gave me the answer to a "why." After I graduated I found myself in data analyst role. It was a great stepping stone for the position that catapult take my career into the path that it is on now. I learned a lot during that short period as I was also studying data science (ML, Azure, R, Python). I honed in on my technical knowledge and made my way into a technical consultant role for Lucid. At Lucid, I was a technical consultant that helped partners, onboard, optimize, and scale their API integrations into Lucid. It was the perfect balance between client facing and technical consulting. As I continued to develop my customer success skills, I ended up managing up to 40 integrations generating over 50m in revenue. When it was time to continue my career, I was trying to decide if I wanted to go a technical or customer success route. Due to my curiosity, I decided to try both, which led me to my next role at Optimizely (formerly Welcome). I decided to go the technical route with this role as I was tasked with building API integrations using an Ipaas software called Tray.io. Along with building the integrations, I was project managing them including time tracking and scheduling. I eventually realized this is not what I wanted to do in my career, which led me to my latest role as Director of Customer Success at Dynata (formerly Branded Research). I was brought back to the balance between technical consulting and customer success. I was able to utilize my technical experience along with client management to help bring on new partners and grow existing ones. I created and maintained great relationships that helped us exceed revenue targets. I will always be in the search of the next problem to solve.
