I left the class of 2010 with 11 A* C GCSE grades that included; English, Maths, German, Spanish and Science. I attained 2:1 for my BPS accredited (BSc Psychology, counselling and therapies degree (Hons)).I have had some good experience as a carer and have been currently developing my skill as a support and care worker. Becoming a carer worker allowed me to give back to the society while I gain some of the most valuable life lessons and skills such as the skills of building rapport, providing dignity and respect dealing with complaints and working on how to improve settings. During my sixth form studies at Newham Sixth form College, I engaged in retail employment where I learned that every experience is a useful one as they can all be transferable in any sector of work. When working in retail, I was doing a lot of sales awareness and tended to enjoy drawing customers to buy new products. My experience could also apply to my key area of health awareness and promotion. I also worked as a receptionist during my studies; this helped me achieve professionalism and the ability to help others according to their requested needs as well as effective communicating and a non-judgemental service. I often exercised my problem-solving skills and created an honest relationship and a bond with the service users.
