  I've always had an interest in technology from a very young age and I think that this has helped me achieve what I have done. I started off as an IT analyst after being offered a position immediately after completing a week of work experience when studying for my NVQ in IT Customer Services and worked my way up to 2nd line support within 18 months to 3rd line support a year later supporting a local authority. Following that I was promoted to senior 3rd line engineer with a small team working with me. Whilst in this position I was encouraged to get involved with other accounts within the business where my reputation excelled and led me into problem management where I was able to apply my excellent problem solving skills and logic resolving a large number of long standing problems others had given up on. 2 years later I was invited to take on the role as a junior technical design architect where I have been able to apply my skills learnt throughout my IT career in designing and often implementing complex IT solutions where I have received praise for my attention to detail and determination to complete the project. I am now a key player within my TDA team with expert knowledge of the local infrastructure and Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions. Over the years I have gained valuable experience with virtualization technologies like vSphere, Hyper - v, Oracle OVM and Microsoft Azure. Alongside these I have gained valuable experience with storage technologies such as NetApp OnTap, HP EVA and DAS solutions.
