Adam Liepins’s Expertise Ultimately I'm a generalist. I've been working with real time, and the Unreal Engine in particular, for the past 10 years to produce Apps, Games, TV, Film and AR/VR/MR Experiences. I work with motion capture Stage Managers and Engineers to create virtual productions with fully rendered real time graphics, virtual cameras, and facial capture from Faceware, Dynamixyz, or Apple ARKit. I can produce work across multiple art disciplines which include character and Environment Modeling/Texturing/Look Development, Concept, Story Boarding, UI/UX Design, Particle Effects, Hair and Fur, Layout, Scene Assembly, Lighting, Post Processing and Rendering. I don't write code, but I do use Blueprints extensively to provide tools to artists, production and pipeline teams. I create game play logic, program UI or use the multiple systems within Unreal including Animation Blueprints, Blendspaces, Materials and Material Libraries, LiveLink, Sequencer, Physics Assets, Cascade, Niagara and more. I work with engineers to improve the production pipeline increasing their quality, efficiency, and their ease of use. Years of improvements have led to a pipeline capable of producing high quality renders, overnight, with less hardware. ...whew That's a mouthful. Long story short, I wanna make cool shit with cool people.
