  I am a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Alexa, specifically the Alexa Voice Service team aka AVS. I work with the team that is responsible for driving Alexa registrations and engament on third party devices through product features, customer experience, and technical services across AVS. We are highly customer obsessed and all of our development is driven backwards from the customer. Working with this team also gives me opportunities to work with Front End development using React JS. Prior to working with AVS, I worked with Amazon Forecasting team to build Amazon-scale big data platform services and software which developers & scientists use to create Forecasting applications, and the tooling required to use those systems and software, including experimentation tools. With that team, I got the opportunities of working on large scale clusters that run Hadoop and Spark applications and AWS services on a daily basis. Working at amazon for over two years has been a great experience where each day is filled with challenges to develop and provide better customer experience, be it 3P developers or fellow engineers/scientists.
