Additionally, I am committed to community engagement and volunteer work, having been a Parkrun Run Director since the age of 16 and participating in numerous volunteer roles, including as a care home befriender and a cook at a yoga retreat in the Alps. At university, I’ve been actively involved in student societies, taking on leadership roles such as President of Medics Panto (where we raised nearly 3,000 for charity), and Conference Secretary for the Emergency Medicine Society. This year, I am also Co-President of Medics Wellbeing, a new society I co-founded to promote mental health and resilience among medical students. As I look ahead, I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and experience in emergency medicine while contributing to global health initiatives, healthcare policy, and expedition medicine.
