From 2002 until the the end of 2004 I was the lead member of CSIRO’s contribution to the Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium located at Monash University. Currently I am a member of CMIS’s Statistical Bioinformatics.(Health) group. Over my career I have developed an international reputation in the application of statistics in animal and life sciences. I believe that my work is characterized by a high level of originality and an ability to translate biological and biotechnical issues, arising from consulting activities, into tractable and useful statistical methodologies. I have published my research in respected discipline journals. My communication skills and ability to promote statistical thinking have enabled me to establish myself as a recognized expert in the interface between statistics and animal and life sciences.
