  During my early career which I started at university as scientist in teaching and research the optimized design of electrical machines and systems was one of my focus fields. During that time I learned a lot about efficiency of electrical drive train systems and found that this might be something that I should follow in the future. We are now focussing into agile methodologies for the discovery phase in product development prior kick off of an project. This helps to have the right concepts and soultions for our customers ready before we enter the devliery phase. My personal focus is laying on enabling everybody in my team to do his job with the maximum power and pleasure. Coaching and teaching unleashes talents where traditional methods sometimes prevent creativity. It is exciting every time to experience how teams can surpass themselves. I see my role as someone who empowers others, who removes disturbing influences and barriers and who always asks for creativity, openess for new thinking and into outcome instead of output only. This means as well, that I always look for the latest movements in technology like new battery chemistry, new drive train concepts, new digital products, new materials or charging solutions.
