  Whenever I am asked what I do, it is impossible for me to respond in any way other than to tell them that I am a scientist while having a giant smile on my face. As an Analytical Chemist my experiences have primarily focused on method development, experiment design and biological/pharmaceutical applications. I am most familiar with liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis separations (achiral and chiral), and also have expertise in mass spectrometry and a variety of other measurement approaches. As a firm believer in the mantra "how you sample determines what you measure," sample acquisition and processing is also an area I have studied extensively.
