Duties included planning and executing a benefit concert ($6500 raised), two silent auctions ($4500 total raised), and an annual symposium; I oversaw all programmatic decision making such as panel topics, speakers, performers, and year-long theme; Lead development, marketing, programming, and financial departments; Acted as primary liaison to local & national partners, including Americans for the Arts.Used Smithsonianu2019s fundraising database to look up and enter prospect information for various events and mailings; Updated and maintained Smithsonian National Board membersu2019 biographical information in BoardEffect: Assisted with preparations for and execution of Smithsonian National Board meeting; Updated regional event details and maintained board lists on Smithsonian Campaign website; Researched and compiled information on prospects in anticipation of upcoming events and meetings; Tracked RSVPs for opening reception of new exhibition at the National Museum of the American Indian, other duties as assigned.Primary duties included working directly under the General Manager and Associate General Manager; Helped to execute artistic contracts in collaboration with LORT Collectively Bargained Agreements; Acted as liaison between departments, artists, and outside parties; Organized the complete move out of our performance building in preparation for a historic renovation (as part of a $73m Capital Campaign).
