With most of my career spent with an ENR Top 25 General Contractor as both Chief Estimator & Operations Manager, I have been responsible for managing all facets of the Estimating Department. In addition to General Contracting, I have gained years of experience in many construction contract delivery methods including Construction Management at Risk, CM Agency, Design-Build, CM Multi-Prime and Public-Private Partnership (P3). What I have enjoyed most about working in the construction industry, in addition to the incredibly talented people, is the wide variety of market sectors that I have had an opportunity to work that includes Aviation, Light Industrial & Manufacturing, Higher Education, Government/Public Work, and Hospitality/Entertainment. Today as Director of Estimating, for Anser Advisory, my primary focus is on preconstruction services, cost estimating, scheduling and construction management. My goal is to ensure that our cost estimate practice is structured to complement the entire construction process: from providing strategic input in the development of program/project budgets, to supporting functional cost estimates during financial feasibility, through design development, bid/award, and the construction phase.
