Since 2017, I have maintained a contract for weather services with Illinois Public Media News (AM 580, FM 90.9) providing daily audio weather forecasts for broadcast and live severe weather coverage on dangerous weather days. My live coverage of severe weather events in the Midwest has received multiple awards, most recently including a 2022 Edward R Murrow Award and 2023 Crystal Mic Award for excellence in breaking news weather coverage. I also developed a mobile application for Android and iOS devices along with a daily SMS messaging service which delivers daily weather forecasts and important weather alerts to subscribers each morning.
