Andrey Bashchenko’s Expertise Looking for Director role in Data Platform / Big Data domain anywhere outside Russia-Ukraine conflict. My passion is technology and data. For the last 10 years I manage data-centric product development, starting from centralized DWH architecture, MDM, various Data Provisioning and Data Streaming solutions to high load streaming solutions and Deep Analytics on Hadoop stack. Last 5 years I’m managing Big Data platform and Data-Driven products development leveraging recent technology advances in Hadoop, Spark ecosystem, Machine Learning and Data Science to enable ecosystem development and business growth for biggest CIS businesses: Bank (SBER), Telecom (MTS) and Retail&Logistics (RussianPost). I have extensive experience in nurturing product development organizations and fine-tuning software development processes, leveraging industry best practices in product development, SDLC processes, CI\CD and cloud computing. I am keen on elaborating processes and guidelines for ecosystem participants’ collaboration around the Data platforms, with clear and transparent interfaces and SLA’s. I believe that evangelizing Data-driven culture and facilitating ecosystem development around Data platforms benefits both Data Organization and business customers.
