After paying his dues as a Junior Designer at various design studios, Andy accepted a position with Tinopolis Interactive where he contributed to projects for some large corporations including the BBC, UFI and Learn Direct. Andy spent three years working for Leekes and The Vale Resort. In his role as senior designer Andy led a team of designers responsible for implementing the new Leekes brand identity, guidelines and hotel marketing materials. When he’s not designing or exploring corners of Wales on his motorcycle Andy’s volunteering. He taught English in China, co-ordinated building projects in Paraguay and designs for charities in his spare time. In 2010 Andy’s attention to detail and enthusiasm for the challenge of creating new brands made him a perfect fit for the James Good Limited design team. His broad knowledge and design experience put him in good stead to play a part in it’s success story. Here he was fortunate to contribute to a huge number of design projects with leading companies around the world. After eight fulfilling years in a close knit team of talented people, the time came for a change of direction and a new challenge - this time in Government. And so in 2018 Andy made the switch to a leading design role within the Office for National Statistics where he’s now applying his skills and experience with hopes for making lasting change to design, workflow and brand identity.
