During my time at McMaster I was one of the Suspension Leads for the McMaster Baja Racing Team where we designed, manufactured and raced a single seater off-road race vehicle. As a Suspension Lead, I designed the front suspension while simultaneously managing sub-projects performed by my team members. During the summer months after my 1st and 2nd year of undergrad, I completed various college courses in the Mechanical Engineering department at Fanshawe College. I learned various practical and hands-on skills such as using the manual lathe, mill, & drill press, writing G-Code and setting up a CNC Mill, welding (MIG, TIG, SMAW, oxy-fuel) and other basic shop equipment.
