Ashish Gupta’s Expertise As i was thinking of something else to do but my interest and skills drove me to become a chef and decided to give a start with one of the finest institute IHM-Aurangabad where i did specialization in culinary arts and kitchen management for 3yrs ,affiliated by TAJ GROUP HOTELS which gave the right direction to my career and polished my culinary skills and management skills. With period of 3 yrs i learnt lot of things as i was sent to lot of TAJ HOTELS to observe things and learn skills.I did my training with TAJ PALACE New Delhi 420 rooms, TAJ aurangabad and many more. Then started my career with one of the finest resorts of oberoi hotel Vanyavilas which gave me so much of exposure in terms of cross training and with in the department trainings which polished my culinary and management skills. As a part of job i did my cross training with lot of well known chefs which gave me new horizon to think of food and to handle the pressure in the situations and i am very adaptable to the environment. With a period i moved to The Park hotels and then Hyatt group of hotels. with the extensive knowledge and the exposure to the various companies I learnt a lot in terms of culinary skills and administrative skills. worked as Chef de partie with Raddisson Blu, new delhi ( carlson group of hotels). worked as a sous chef with Radisson Blu overall restaurant in-charge, shadow banquets and takes care of commissary,directly reports to the executive chef. Worked as a sous chef with Eros hotel Delhi taking care of the coffee shop,tea lounge and bar lounge. Worked as Brand chef Fresco with Lite bite foods handling multiple units. Specialties: I specialized in continental cuisine which includes hot buffet and the cold buffet. can work in pressure as i have worked in busiest coffee shops and can take the challenges and pressure. working as a free lancer kitchen consultant which includes kitchen designing,menu designing, menu trainings and cost effective model.
