Review the sale performance of individual stores and to advise the management and the retail team Variance analysis-Actual vs forecasted and Budgeted vs Actual Examine the financial statements and data, assess the performance Assess the current trends in business practices, products and competition and provide useful insight. Job Responsibilities : • Spending analysis -To perform the analysis of overall spending for a particular line of business of IBM to ensure correctness of entries flowing-in & to provide advice from a finance controller’s perspective. To deep dive into the transactions to understand the impact on overall business & simultaneously to control the stipulated process-flow. • Budgeting-Participation in annual budgets • Forecasting-Further to the analysis of spending, the responsibility is also to provide monthly forecasting for the business line after interacting with the Operations/Deliveryteam. • Variance analysis-Actual vs forecasted and Budgeted vs Actual • PO approver of particular particular line of business of IBM • Cost allocation & cost recovery journal entries • Accrual,Defferal & miscodes/reclass journal entries • Revenue analysis • Preparing the process performance report and submitting these to the higher management for process reviews. • Ensuring standard operating procedures for all the processes are up-to-date at all the times.
