Barry Bunyi’s Expertise I have over 20 years of experience in the IT and critical infrastructure segment, mostly in various sales roles such as business development, key accounts management, territory and vertical management, and channel management. I was tasked to be Country Manager of Dell Philippines back in 2004 at a young age of 33, promoted to Director level in 2005, and stayed on to manage the Dell Philippines organization for over 6 years as Director and Country Head. During this time Dell has grown to be a strong IT vendor in the SMB & Enterprise markets, at times garnering # 1 market share for commercial desktops/laptops and Intel servers. The overall Dell organization blossomed to have vibrant and talented people who are now leaders in their respective roles today. Mid 2010 I moved to a regional role in Emerson Network Power, handling the Tier 1 Channel Partners across Asia. It was a relatively new role within Emerson at that time, and the main task was to generate a healthy number of Solutions Partners across each country in Asia that would help bring the Emerson solution to their respective customers. From 2011 to 2014, the Tier 1 Channel Partner community grew 4x in number, and the corresponding revenue grew 3x since then. The channel business has evolved to be equally important to the existing vertical strategy and service businesses inherent in Emerson Network Power, and would be integral in the 5 year growth plan for the organization. Mid 2015 I moved to Service Sales, still in a regional role, managing the Service Sales organization across the Asia countries. The main priorities are to increase Warranty Capture rates, grow the contracts business through increasing the renewal rates, generate installed base penetration programs, institute Service Solutions across the service organization and generate incremental businesses and develop new markets for Service. I still have an ongoing chapter in service, and would update the summary as key milestones are achieved.
