  I have been in the editing field for the last 14 years. In this time, I’ve had the fortunate opportunities to work with some of the biggest names in the Commercial, Doc and Film world. Ranging from some of the biggest commercial edit houses like; RPS, Arcade, Cut and Run, to giants in the VFX world; Method Studios, MPC, The Mill, Elastic, Buck, MAL, to some of the biggest in the Film world; Bay, Bruckheimer, Peter Berg and FOX studios. I have been in LA for the last 15 years and started working with/on the Fox Lot covering 4 films in a 2-year period. After which I worked as a Stuntman for varies films, TV shows and music videos. But then I found my true calling in editorial, where I have had my most success and fun. Early on I wanted to not only be the best editor possible, I was also looking for ways to distinguish myself from the field. One example of this was seeking out VFX editorial needs. By working closely with VFX companies and their artist, I picked up a few VFX tips and tricks I could then facilitate in to my editorial work, along with gathering a deep understanding of the VFX process and procedure. I have leveraged all my relationships with my former co-workers on the Fox Lot, stunt and VFX worlds to be more appealing to employers, and it has just grown from there. As an editor I have learned to use my relationships and my editorial talents to help sustain my career. By having the knowledge of multiple points of the media industry, I am well versed in working with a big team. Even by having an attribute as simple as knowing the lingo/vocabulary of team members outside of editorial on a project, allows for a massive increase of efficiency for the job. I am now at a point in my editorial journey where I feel I can really offer a symbiotic relationship with a company, by helping to grow the success of both parties. Chapeau Studios
