Benjamin Macdougall’s Expertise I've been in the HVAC industry and a member of United Association of pipe fitters local 250 since May of 2001 and have had a very diverse career. I enjoy what I do thoroughly, whether it's rebuilding a pump or fan, solving system problems or working with automation in any capacity. I've worked on and repaired just about everything except centrifugal/absorption chillers. Just never had the interest in being a wheelman after finding automation honestly. I've made a name for myself with building automation of most makes and VFD install and retrofit of all brands. The aspect of my job I love the most is being presented with a problem and solving it no matter how difficult. In fact, the more difficult the better. I'm not scared of any equipment or system, because after all, no one knows everything and I love to learn. Besides, one can find just about anything on the Internet these days. I hope to continue on my current course and continue to gain wisdom, knowledge, and experience. I don't think I'll ever retire, maybe I'll just go into consulting.
