  I am a macroeconomist and an Associate Professor at the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics at Monash University. My research interests are in applied macroeconometrics and time series analysis, with a focus on issues related to estimation and interpretation of sources of business cycle fluctuations. These include a stint as a central bank research fellow at the Bank for International Settlements, and also a research visitor at, among others, various regional Federal Reserve Banks, Bank of Canada, the European Central Bank, Reserve Bank of Australia, the International Monetary Fund, and the SEACEN Research and Training Centre. I hold a PhD in Economics from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from The University of Queensland. In 2019, the Australian Research Council awarded me a DECRA Fellowship to study financial and business cycles.
