  I am enjoying retirement, returning to my 'roots' in language and literature. At the moment (2020) I am doing a course in "the art of writing", which is an academic, analytical approach to creative writing. I am also taking courses in dog training and dog behaviour. Throughout my career I have written technical documentation as part of my over-all responsibilities. I have enjoyed working with an organisation to build/adapt a process framework of standardised processes (based on CMMI / ITIL), using SCRUM and including data security aspects, virtual teaming, social computing, etc. - adapting the framework to the requirements of a constantly changing world. I enjoyed helping people solve the puzzles and challenges involved and enjoyed coaching them in the new/changed processes and the behavioural and organisational changes that go with it. This is also reflected in the voluntary work I do as a WHO Patient Safety Champion where I work to promote patient safety and patient empowerment as an important factor in improving our healthcare system. I enjoy a challenge and am always looking to improve my store of knowledge. I am adept at applying skills I have acquired in one field in quite different areas, and in finding parallels and similarities between widely different subject matter areas so that I can utilize my skills in many different ways. And should you need a little help with your dog's behavioural problems I might even be able to lend a hand with that - I'm a certified behavioural trainer class of 2004 (Turid Rugaas). At Home
